The piping looks very much like PowerShell.

"...probably doesn’t reflect what a seasoned F# programmer would write."

There are seasoned F# developers? ;)

This is an extremely slow and resource consuming way to do the task. I think that's not coder's fault, it's how iTextSharp is designed to work; in fact we must appreciate the coder's ability to derive a useful functionality with this lib. That apart, I'm still not aware of how to add Document Level JS to PDF using iTextSharp. I don't think iTextSharp can process the existing PDF files. Will I need to assemble the entire PDF file as new and then add JS to it?! Lack of documentation is a usual thing in Open Source Projects jungle; iTextSharp is just not exception to it, nothing else really.

For implementing GTD you can use this web-based application:

Gtdagenda.com

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
Comes with a mobile version too, and with an Android app.

To answer my own question, according to the estimated execution plan it could nearly double performance. That sounds like an improvement to me :)

I didn't even know this existed :-D Thanks for the tip!

Do you have any experience with how well rank performs and what kind of execution plan it produces (compared to other options)?
